NJCA aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The date of a formal accessibility review will be published here when that review is completed.
What this site does
- Strong color contrast and readable type, set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low vision readers.
- Keyboard friendly navigation with visible focus, plus a “Skip to main content” link.
- Program status labels use text as well as color.
- Descriptive link labels, meaningful alternative text, and forms with clear labels and error messages.
- Animations are subtle and switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Plain language wherever possible.
